Result of a balance between a beautiful garnet red and ruby red shades, "Quercus" is smooth in the mouth. Attractive to the palate, it emits effusive aromas and flavours of dried fruit such as raspberry and black cherry with pleasant notes of dried violet blossoms. On the finish it coaxes you with delicate hints of spices, revealing its complex range of suggestions.

Each sip discloses a balance of freshness and tannins, as aged for a period in oak barrels and then in bottle. Perfect when matched with grilled meats.

It is right in the heart of Tuscany, nestled in the pleasant green of its gentle hills, where Casagrande della Quercia winery is based.

The winery and all its vineyards are located within the Chianti Classico area, the well-renowned territory between Siena and Florence.

The founding family, for three generations, has been working aiming at creating a link between the longstanding Tuscan heritage of wine production and the innovation brought by new technological processes. This is in order to raise product quality while maintaining full respect for the environment and for wine tradition.

For this reason the whole production process from grape to wine processing, to maturing wine, even up to bottling takes place in house having one hand on the past one hand on the future.
