In white wines we looked for the flavors of Carricante and Catarratto with predominantly floral tones; enhancing the aromas and sweetness of the territory, with a product rich in aromas and fresh as the sea breeze and the breath of the mistral wind on a warm August evening of the magical island that produces it.
The Marchese delle Saline brand was born in the Trapani area and has its roots in ancient times, when grandfather Giacomo, in 1860, began processing his first plots of land in the Baiata district, in the Trapani area. Since then, the passion, preparation and love of doing things from the heart, have been handed down from father to son over the years up to the present with the grandchildren Giacomo and Flavia, the third generation who today leads the ‘company. Very attentive to the values of tradition and quality, the Marchese delle Saline company seeks to produce wines from two distinct parts of Sicily, the eastern and western parts, each with unique characteristics linked to a different territory. This is how the two lines are born: Tiade with Etna wines and Le vigne del Marchese with wines produced in the province of Trapani. The Marchese delle Saline wine thus becomes an expression of the potential of a very specific territory: the salt pan and the volcano.
